The Story of Boo and Beep

The story of Boo and Beep is about love found and lost. It is about changing times and  how we cope with the changes and disappointment in life. It is about what friends and  loved ones do for each, to bring some peace to a troubled soul.  Some embrace the  reality and some make up a different “reality” just to survive and stay sane. The people  and the places remembered and cherished have changed. Some have just gone while  others have been replaced with rather incongruous choices. Statements in the dialogue are sometimes opposing or nonsensical to emphasize the often  unrelated story line and the reality of someone losing touch with actual  reality.  People in the same place at the same time seeing a different reality. Boo longs for the return of the past and wants to return to the bygone days. Beep on the  other hand, while being supportive and understanding of what Boo wants knows that is  not possible. Even though he knows that the past is gone, he also knows that there is a  way to bring it back. The story and the resolution have value in their simplicity. Joy  and peace, is elusive and brings happiness, at least for a moment or two. The setting is Key West, Florida and the time is now.
